Aliens Fireteam Elite is a first-person shooter game on the Alienware Arcade. It can be played for free, but there is a way to get the upgrades for free as well. For those of you who have yet to hear about the game, it is a highly addictive game that deals with a group of space-fighting people on a spaceship. You are playing with one of them and you are trying to survive against waves of enemy soldiers who are all trying to kill you.
When the game starts, you are in the cargo bay of your private spaceship. The objective of the game is to stop the aliens who are boarding your spaceship. They have been dispatched from their home planet to make a quick trip to Earth to take over the human population. Your mission is to stop them, and they will stop you if you can’t defend yourself. The combat is fast-paced and very intense. There is no inventory so you have to get used to using only your pistol to shoot your enemies.
The objective is to stay out of the range of the aliens long enough to get back to the ground. The left-behind enemies will continue to shoot at you, and once they reach one health bar, you will need to leave the area to allow more time for repairs. As you are heading towards the next health bar you will notice that the rate of fire is increasing.
The problem is that the enemies are getting closer. You will also notice that the recharge rate of your weapons is decreasing. Once you have killed most of the soldiers you will get to the Engineers who can repair your shields. However, they aren’t as friendly as the other classes of Engineers. Their weapons are quite advanced, and their shields are very weak compared to yours.
Then you will encounter the Warrior class which uses a Shield projector. You will quickly realize that this is the toughest of all the classes. You will need to find cover to stay out of the firing range of these enemy soldiers. Once they are shot down you will need to get back to the beginning of the level to continue the game. This is a first-person shooter game that will keep you on your toes.
When you get to the end of the game you will need to move toward a crashed ship where another member of the team needs to stay behind and fight off the aliens. Once the player gets to the other side of the crashed ship they will need to move to the side of the Engineers while holding down the attack trigger. If you want to complete the game you will need to complete all of these missions.
Some of the missions will give you a decent amount of credits to spend on items or weapons so it is recommended that you collect all of these before starting the mission. The Engineers are the main threat in this game as they can turn the tide of the battle in their favor. Once the Engineer class enemy soldiers move into a particular area the team must quickly move to the middle of the map and take cover behind anything that can stop them from getting to the Engineers. Once you have done all of these things the Engineers will start turning the tide of the battle in their favor. You must quickly dispatch the units that are in front of you will find yourself being surrounded by enemy soldiers.
Remember, if you do not complete the objectives at each level you will not be able to move forward to the next. This is why it is important to play the game multiple times throughout. Although the first couple of levels can be challenging, they do get easier the more you play. You will need to make sure that you are focusing on objectives that will get you to the next level so that you can continue advancing. You will need to stay on your toes so that you do not get stuck behind an Engineer that is firing at you.
